This page refers to the historic Ormsby House, built in 1860. For the modern-day hotel, see Ormsby House.

The historic Ormsby House was the first hotel in Carson City, built in 1860 at the corner of Carson and Second Streets. It was built by Major William Ormsby, who died soon after it opened. It was torn down sometime in 1931.
