  • Built 1862
  • three-story, 26-room
  • Bought by Bob McFadden in 1993 for $750,000 and put about $250,000 into renovations
  • McFadden put the hotel on the market in 2001. Then he was asking for $1.2 million
  • sold for $985,000 to Jenny Lopiccolo. Sale finalized October 22, 2004.
  • Bob McFadden died November 2004
  • used to be the Hong Kong cafe and Tommyknockers and Jim's Jungle Bar and Joe Garlic's and Cafe del Rio and Brendel's and I can't remember what else, is now called Devincenzi's.
  • Devincenzi's opened July 2003
  • Firkin and Fox opened January, 2008
  • 1862 - St. Charles built

    1894 - Muller Hotel combines with St. Charles to become the Briggs House
    1910 - Golden West Hotel
    1924 - Hotel disappears from advertising after death of proprietor John Anderson

    1953 - Pony Express Hotel
    1980s - St. Charles name brought back by owner Bob McFadden
